  • butter - 1 cup
  • sugar - 2 cups

Instructions In a bowl with an electric mixer beat the butter and sugarabout 4 minutes.Add eggs, one at a time, whisking after each addition.Sift the flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.Reduce speed and slowly add the flour mixture mixture, alternating with buttermilk.Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight.Add a few tablespoons of sugar in a small bowl (if used).Mix the dye until desired shade is reached.Preheat the oven with the two center rack to 170 degrees.Shots baking sheet with parchment paper.On a lightly floured surface roll out the dough to 3 mm thick.Cut heart with the help of the cutter for cookies or form.You may want to cut the center in the form of heart in hearts.Put the cookies on a baking sheet and place in r
