Apple cake with apricot jam

  • sheet frozen puff pastry - 1 Each
  • flour surface - - pinches
  • large egg - 1 Each
  • applesauce - 1/2 cup apple
  • - 3 pieces (peeled and slicedthin wedges)
  • butter - 2 tbsp.
  • spoons of sugar - 2 tbsp.spoon
  • apricot jam - 2 tbsp.
  • spoons of water - 1 tbsp.Spoon

On a lightly floured surface roll out the puff pastry rectangle of 35-40 cm. Cut the 2.5-centimeter strip on each side.Coat the edges with beaten egg and put on the edges of the cut strip.Prick dough all over with a fork, put on a baking sheet and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.Preheat oven to 200 degrees.Put in the middle of the test applesauce, flatten with a spatula.Arrange the apple slices so that they overlap each other.Coat the apples with melted butter.Coat the edges with beaten egg and sprinkle the entire surface of the sugar.The cake can be frozen for up to 3 days.Bake for about 20 minutes.Reduce heat to 190 degrees and bake until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are caramelized, 25

to 30 minutes.Share on the grating and let cool for 10 minutes.Heat the apricot jam and 1 tablespoon water in a medium saucepan over medium heat.Pour over top of cake mix.If desired, sprinkle with confectioner's sugar and cut into squares.Serve the cake warm with whipped cream if desired.
