Pie with apple sauce and creamy frosting

Ingredients:
  • flour - 2 cups
  • baking powder - 2 teaspoons
  • soda - 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • - 3/4 teaspoon ground
  • ginger - 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • - 1/8 teaspoon
  • stick softened butter - 1 Each
  • light brown sugar - 1 cup
  • vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • eggs - 2 pieces
  • applesauce - 1 1/2 cups
  • walnuts - 1/2 cup
  • For glaze: cream cheese - 150 grams
  • butter - 3 tablespoons.

1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees with rack in center.Oiled baking pan and pave parchment paper.In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices.Beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla in a separate bowl of electric mixer on high speed for 2 to 3 minutes.Add the eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition, then beat with apple sauce.Reduce speed to low and add the flour mixture.Then add the chopped walnuts (if using).The dough will look a little bit and uneve

n.Put the dough evenly into prepared pan.2. Bake until golden brown, about 35 to 40 minutes.Allow to cool in the form of 15 minutes.Remove the cake from the mold and put it on a plate to cool completely.You can speed up the cooling by placing the cake in the refrigerator.3. Make the glaze.Whip cream cheese, butter and vanilla extract with an electric mixer at high speed.Add sifted confectioners' sugar and cinnamon, beat at medium speed until smooth.4. Coat the prepared glaze cooled cake.Store cake in the refrigerator.
