Red currant jelly

  • Red currants - 400 grams
  • Sugar - 2/3 cup
  • Starch - 3 tbsp.
  • spoon Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.Spoon

first grind through a sieve washed and cleaned of litter red currant berries.Squeeze out the juice of berries.Put the rest of the pulp in a pan, fill with water (about half a liter), bring to a boil, cook for another 10 minutes and remove from heat.Filter, put the sugar, a little lemon juice, once again put on fire, bring to a boil and cook until sugar is completely dissolved.Dilute starch remaining after the first step, the juice of red currants.Juice diluted with starch, pour it into the boiling sugar syrup, stir once again bring to a boil and remove from heat.Let cool a little - and you can bring to the table.
