Cranberry-Apple Pie

Ingredients:
  • fresh cranberries - 360 grams
  • apple - 1 Each
  • light brown sugar - 1/2 cup
  • grated orange peel - 1 tbsp.Spoon
  • freshly squeezed orange juice - 1/4 cup
  • ground cinnamon - 1 1/8 teaspoons
  • large eggs, room temperature - 2 pieces
  • sugar - 1 cup (plus 1 tablespoon)
  • stick of melted butteroil - 1 Each
  • vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon of sour cream

  • 1/4 cup flour - 1 cup
  • salt - 1/4 teaspoon
instructions

1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees.Sprinkle a baking pan with oil spray and leave to one side.Apple peeled, cored and cut into cubes of medium size.Stir in cranberries, apple, brown sugar, orange zest, orange juice and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a bowl.Set aside.2. In another medium bowl, beat egg whisk, about 1 minute.Add 1 cup sugar, melted and slightly cooled butter, vanilla extract and sour cream.Stir until smooth.Gradually add the flour and salt, mix well.3. Put into prepared pan cranberry-apple mixture.4. Pour the batter on top and smooth.5. Stir in the remaining 1 tablespoon

sugar and 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon.Sprinkle the dough with the mixture.6. Bake the cake for 55-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.7. Serve the pie warm or at room temperature with vanilla ice cream.
