Spicy lemon cake with icing

  • stick unsalted butter, room temperature - 1 Thing (plus oil form)
  • flour - 1 1/2 cups (plus flour form)
  • baking powder - 1 teaspoon soda
  • -1/4 teaspoon
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • sugar - 3/4 cup
  • lemon peel - 1 tbsp.
  • spoon fresh lemon juice - 6 Art.spoons (from 2 lemons)
  • ground cardamom - 3/4 teaspoon
  • large eggs - 2 pieces
  • cream - 1/2 cup
  • powdered sugar - 1 1/2 cups

1.Preheat oven to 190 degrees.Grease with butter and lightly floured round baking pan diameter 20 cm. Shake off the excess flour.Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.2. In a medium bowl, beat butter, sugar, finely grated lemon zest and cardamom mixer on medium speed until creamy.3. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition.Add to the dough 3 tablespoons of lemon juice and whisk.4. Reduce speed and add the flour in 3 batches, alternating it with sour cream.Begin and end with flour.5. Beat the dough until smooth and pour into prepared pan.6. Ba

ke the cake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.Give the cake to cool on a wire rack.7. To make the frosting, beat the remaining 3 tablespoons of lemon juice with sugar until smooth.Pour the cooled cake frosting.8. Decorate the cake on top of finely grated lemon peel, cut into portions and serve.
