- brown sugar - 1/2 cup

- spoon cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Peel and cut sweet potatoes.In a large skillet heat the oil over medium heat Add the sweet potatoes, fry, stirring occasionally, until potatoes begin to acquire brown, 2 minutes.Add broth, brown sugar and lime juice and season with salt and pepper.Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer until tender, 10 minutes.Remove the lid and cook over medium heat until the potatoes are tender and the liquid is thick, 7 to 9 minutes.You must remain in the pot, only a small amount of liquid.Move the pan from heat, add butter and mix well.Season with salt and pepper and serve.
