Granola with almonds and coconut

  • oatmeal - 2 cups
  • almonds - 1 cup coconut flakes
  • - 1 cup
  • toasted wheat germ -
  • 1/2 cup honey - 2/3 cup
  • vanilla extract -1 1/2 teaspoons
  • salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • dried fruit or dried fruit mix - 1 1/2 cups

1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees.Oil the form and pave it with parchment paper.Mix oatmeal, almonds and coconut on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are lightly browned.Put the mixture into a large bowl and mix with the wheat germ.Reduce the oven temperature to 150 degrees.Add to oat mixture of honey, vanilla extract and salt, mix well, then add the dried fruit.2. Put the mixture into the prepared pan and press it to the surface with wet fingers or a silicone spatula, until the mixture is pressed as tightly as possible.3. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until light golden brown.Allow to cool for 2-3 hours, then cut into squares serrated knife.4. Store bars in airtight containers at room temperature for 1-2 weeks.You can also st

ore the granola in the fridge, because it is always hard at it.Before use, granola soften at room temperature.
